HI, I'M CELIE
A visual storyteller specialising in thoughtful film and photography for brands and individuals.
Let's get to know each other a little better.
I find inspiration everywhere—from sculptures and plays to beach walks and service stations.
I’m obsessed with the intricacies of light, and to me, photography is the perfect combination of science and art.
As a teenager, I discovered that my camera can be a bridge to form deep connections, with my environment and the people around me.
This led to me to a First Class degree in Visual Communication and after graduating, I worked as an In-House Photographer for two international brands before transitioning to a freelance career.
I now work with Creatives, Founders, Thought-leaders, Change-makers, Charities, Independent Service Providers and Larger Enterprises to make images and films for promotional and editorial purposes.
I also capture personal stories of those celebrating their love, families and milestones, as well as documenting spirited events such as Drag performances and protests.
My work is documentary-led and grounded in connection.
Connection to ourselves, our bodies, the moment, the space and the shared experience of making art to document what we’re feeling, thinking and doing.
Many people I photograph start off anxious about being in front of the camera - my approach is to always acknowledge and embrace this, and then work through it together.
Just a few of the brands I've worked with...
Pan Macmillan, The Rising Circle, Now Studio, Silvan Architects, Elisa Celeste, GoodWorkUk, Slow Stitch Club, Alice Mary Lynch, Bath Life Magazine, Edventure Frome, Hatt Health and Movement Clinic, Still Sisters
I truly believe there’s no authenticity without trust, so I create with collaboration at heart. Attention to detail is at the forefront of my mind while I shoot, and with our plan and vision board to hand, we'll produce consistent and beautiful images that are an extension of you.
I am a winner of Portrait of Britain 2021 and my work has been most recently exhibited at Photo Frome.
