HOME FROM HOME

I made these Photobooks in 2016, during my final year of my BA(Hons) Visual Communication.

 

Captured on 35mm they describe the frequent journey I made between my life as a student in Birmingham and my carer role for my Mum in my home town of Frome in Somerset.

 

The first book 'On my Way' tells the story of the trip I made along the M5, pausing at service stations and lay-bys to document the views I became so familiar with.

 

The second book 'Here' shows the difference in my views in each place. They are printed in a concertina format to emulate the parallel lives I felt I was living.
